Getting a proper squat is important to us, therefore our Olympic Weighlifting Coach is there to teach you the important basics of a squat.
About
We do not carry every piece of machinery under the sun, and then again you don't need all of them anyways. We believe in using free weights and calisthenics as they did in the old days because it has been tried and tested by Reg Park, Bill Pearl, Chris Dickerson and Tommy Kono which are all examples that iron can make you bigger, better, faster and stronger. We do have the basic machines, weight chains, tires, platforms, bumper plates, and fresh air, however if you are looking for more commercial machines, exercise bikes, elevator music, or a social bar wer'e not the place for you.
I wanted to create an environment where strongman, weightlifters, powerlifters, bodybuilders and others alike would come together to train hard. I have met amazing people here and they have pushed me to make this gym better than what I had imagined it to be. I am dedicated to this place and I will emphasis that by giving you the attention that our members should have. I am here for you.

Note: Since we are located in an industrial park our address will not come up correctly on your GPS or mapquest. We are located down Greenland Rd., Turn left onto Fayal if you came down Philips Hwy. or right if you drove down Greenland, then immediately turn left again which turns into Columbia Parkway. We are located in the first set of buildings you come upon and we are at the far end facing Columbia Parkway.

We can help you develop a plan that teaches you motivation, intense training, and mindfulness. Nobody should train alone . Our community welcomes anybody whether youre an athlete, powerlifter, Olympic Weightlifter, strongman or is looking for a different kind of gym.
We are a hard core facility where we foster a stimulating environment for those who are serious about getting fit whether youre an athlete or not. Your goals become our goals because we believe in you. We will show you what you are capable of and train you the right way, anything is possible.
When you train with us you will train for strength by using basic compound exercises. Free weights let you engage more muscles making it more intense during training while machines only isolate certain muscles. Some machines do not even build muscles they just fill the void of the big gyms. Good technique and skill is requiered with free weights.

Metroflex is about making your world of lifting hard and heavy. Adaption is sought through training that is planned and executed accurately through physical fitness therefore increasing strength. To increase strength we must load our training with intensity adding new challenges to the workout that we are not used to doing.
